I only needed to hear 3 things before becoming a fan of Firminio.... 1. Italian 2. Bags 3. Female owned and operated. Not only do I like what they stand for as a company, in all honestly I truly love the simplicity of each piece and their accessibile price points. In an era of overpriced bags that are about 1/2 the cost of my first car, I couldn’t be more excited to finally find a high quality bag that doesn’t break the bank.  The Paola Classic is truly that... a classic backpack that can be worn everyday. It’s great for ladies (or gents) on the run, travelers and even new parents who don’t want to carry the dreaded “diaper bag”. With belt bags dominating fashion feeds all over the world I loved finding the Gioia, a versatile “fanny” pack that can be casually tied around your waist or worn crossbody with a chain strap. If you are looking to step outside the boundaries a bit but still want a timeless style then the VO.2 is your girl. She’s classy and put together, but a bit more unique and architectural with the walnut handle.

The most inspiring and consistent thing in my life has always been my love of travel and other cultures. My strongest memories are from the first books I read when I was a young child of foreign lands. Those books spurred a strong desire in me to explore the world with an open mind and heart.  When Emily came to me and wanted to collaborate the first thing I could think of was creating an earring inspired by my love of other cultures and the people who make them so unique and special. My favorite piece of jewelry was a beautiful vintage Fulani earring that had broken years ago. I wanted to recreate that piece in honor of the strong women who designed them and maintain the pride and dignity with which they had.  I hope you love the pieces as much as we do. 💛

This Joseph dress is anything but vanilla in my humble (pie) opinion... and it has big plans this fall for being the scoop of perfect vanilla ice cream at the bottom of a hot fudge sweater sundae. I plan on layering this baby up with all the knits i can find, combat boots and cross body everything. Add a blazer... sure. Wear it with a straw hat.. why not? Is there anything this dress can’t do... it’s basically “super dress”. Fighting fashion crime in the city, saving insta-lives at the beach, and being just damned Incredible if you ask me.  (Somehow a style post turned into a paragraph about sweets and superhero’s... but when ur dealing with THE perfect dress it’s hard to put it in perspective without a few relevant references)

Beek by Two Birds

Beek has been a favorite of mine for years now... they are as timeless as they are chic. While going through old photos the other day I realized, they have literally walked all over the world with me. Frankly there isn’t another pair of sandals I would rather have by my side on all my adventures. They have built in molded arches, thick leather soles perfect for exploring new places and they literally NEVER fall apart. So I just wanted to say thanks Beek... in an Instagram-esque montage. Thanks for all the “support” and love.
